The Fabric Workshop and Museum The Fabric Workshop and Museum is the only museum of its kind, offering internationally renowned artists the resources to create new work in experimental materials. The FWM hosts 6 to 8 exhibitions of contemporary art annually, and invites visitors into the artist studios to view the creative process. Recent exhibitions have included Louise Bourgeois, Roy Lichtenstein, and Kara Walker, as well as thematic exhibitions devoted to topics such as artists' wallpapers. Cliveden of the National Trust Originally built between 1763-1767, the house was destroyed in 1777. The cause of the destruction was the 1777 Battle of Germantown. The home is now located on six acres and is furnished with 18th and 19th century artifacts. Items featured in the home are porcelain, paintings, documents and decorative art.
