An impressive temple, the Beth Sholom Synagogue in Elkins Park is one of Frank Lloyd Wright's creations. Rising up in a triangular shape, the building has no internal beams and at night appears to be somewhat translucent, as its walls are made from wire, glass and plastic. This building was completed in 1954. Tours can be arranged on advance by calling the synagogue. Address: 8231 Old York Rd. Elkins Park PA USA 19027
